Confirmation Preparation – Year 1: Participants must be 14 1/2when enrolled and have already received the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation (Penance) and Eucharist (First Communion). The curriculum challenges and guides the teen to pursue lives that are holy, healthy and happy; discusses morality; summarizes the church’s central beliefs, moral vision, and communal worship: and explores the role of the Holy Spirit in living the Christian life. Classes meet EVERY OTHER WEEK, on Sunday evening from 6:15-8:15pm.
Teens in the Con 1 program are required to:

• Attend and Participate in 23 Sessions which include 17 classes, 5 Catalyst Events, 1 Safety class and 1 Retreat
• All Catalyst Events and the Retreat are mandatory for attendance
• Complete Service Hours : 5 Hours in the Parish, 5 Hours in the Community, and attend 3 Fellowship Events hosted by Youth Ministry
  • Submit Service Log (due March 8, 2026)

• Attend Prayer and Practice with Sponsor (TENTATIVE May 6,13,20, 2026)

• Teen-Choosing a Sponsor Form (due November 23, 2025)
• Sponsor Form and Affidavit (due November 23, 2025)
• Saint Report (to be presented and submitted on March 29, 2026)
• Service Log (due March 8, 2026)
