Lord, enable me and empower me with a love that is willing to approach the unapproachable, to touch the untouchable, to love the unlovable, and to accomplish the impossible in Your name.
It is an amazing dream to imagine how putting this prayer into reality would change the world and all of the people in it. Those we deem unapproachable, untouchable, unlovable are children of God just as we are, and to extend His love to all has and will impact society and communities phenomenally. With every move we accomplish, we are, in a profound way, affecting this prayer to those deemed the least of these by some. Let us keep forging forward in our mission to end homelessness one move at a time. In 2013 when Bridges to Home was founded, these events would have seemed like the impossible. But together, in His name and by His strength, we strive to reach ever more quantities of moves accomplished by the grace of God. Since May 31st we have completed 16 moves, moves that changed the lives of Gardiner, Aaron, Richard, Sean, Jeremiah, Melinda, Glennie, Wayne, Anthony, Zachary, Samuel, Rubino, Peggy, Michael, Rafael, and Darl in powerful and compassionate ways. Please enjoy the picture from some of these moves in the gallery below.
