May this blog find you well and showered in blessings during this Lenten season of spiritual preparation, reflection, and repentance, anticipating the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. I heard the following prayer recently, and it seems appropriate as we seek to deepen our relationship with Jesus, focusing on spiritual transformation to draw nearer to Jesus and our neighbor, and letting go of habits that hinder our spiritual growth.
Help me, O Lord, that my eyes may be merciful, so that I may never judge from appearances, but look for what is beautiful in my neighbors' souls. Help me that my ears may be merciful, so that I may give heed to my neighbors' needs and not be indifferent to them.. Help me, O Lord, that my tongue may be merciful so that I never speak negatively of my neighbor, but speak words of comfort and forgiveness for all. Help me, O Lord, that my hands may be merciful and filled with good deeds, so that I may do only good for my neighbor. Help me, that my feet may be merciful, so that I may hurry to assist my neighbor, overcoming my own weariness and doubt. Help me, O Lord, that my heart may be merciful so that I may feel compassion for my neighbor. My true rest is in the service of my neighbor. Saint Faustina Kowalska

Nyisha, Christina, Devon, Monique, Hayden, Jorge, Chloe, Rachel, John, Jeff, Robert, Andranii, Tom, Terry, Thomas, Mario, Kevin, Perry, Richard, Jonathan, Kenneth, Royce, John, Shawn, Paul, Evan, and Frank all convey thanks in their hearts for those who helped transform their houses into furnished homes. Please enjoy the pictures of them celebrating with team members following their moves.

Donating your time and talent encompasses the teams that prepare for the moves by assembling furniture, pulling items from inventory and staging the moves for the Saturday teams, picking up donated items from generous donors, and so much more. Donating your treasure is a crucial part in keeping the wheels turning so we can say “Yes” to those who ask for our help. Grateful thanks to Nancy D., Donna D., Mary O., Jenny, Barbara & Dan, Max & Marilyn, Christine F., Robin, Gloria, Cari, Dave & Eileen, Pam, Pat K., Pat F., Ria, The Heart of Jesus Ministry, Carol & Bill, and Viad & Ben. You make our mission possible.
We are in desperate need of people who can lift the heavier items to staff the move teams . For one reason or another, we have lost a lot of those who could provide this special assistance. The same few gentlemen volunteer each week, and we fear wearing out these men with our weeks of multiple moves. If you are available for just one move each month, or know someone who might be able to assist, please let me know. There is no skill necessary other than partnering with other team members to lift the heavier items. You are never asked to lift more than you can handle, and those who have been on several of these moves are willing to pitch in and help. Thank you!
Please see the email for the details on the next moves scheduled.
May the joy of the resurrection fill your heart and home this Easter and always. May the miracle of Easter bring you peace, joy, and renewal. Mary
