Participants must be 14 1/2when enrolled and have already received the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation (Penance) and Eucharist (First Communion). The curriculum challenges and guides the teen to pursue lives that are holy, healthy and happy; discusses morality; summarizes the church’s central beliefs, moral vision, and communal worship: and explores the role of the Holy Spirit in living the Christian life. Classes MEET EVERY OTHER WEEK, on Sunday evening from 6:15-8:15pm. Teens in the Con 1 program are required to:
Attend and Participate in 20 Sessions which include 13 classes, 5 Catalyst Events, 1 Safety class and 1 Retreat
All Catalyst Events and the Retreat are mandatory for attendance
Complete Service Hours : 5 Hours in the Parish, 5 Hours in the Community, and attend 3 Fellowship Events hosted by Youth Ministry
Submit Service Log (due March 14, 2027)
Confirmation Preparation - Year 2:
Participants must be 16 years old by April 1, 2026 and have completed Confirmation 1. This Con 2 program covers the immediate Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Candidates learn about the Holy Spirit and the critical role of the Holy Spirit in the Church today. All teens, including those attending Catholic High school, must attend all the Confirmation 2 sessions, which MEET EVERY OTHER WEEK, on Sunday from 6:15-8:15pm.
Teens in the Con 2 program are required to:
Attend and Participate in 21 Sessions which include 13 classes, 5 Catalyst Events, 1 Safety class, 1 Retreat, Interviews and Prayer and Practice
All Catalyst Events and the Retreat are mandatory for attendance
Attend Prayer and Practice with Sponsor (TBA)
Complete Service Hours : 5 Hours in the Parish, 5 Hours in the Community, and attend 3 Fellowship Events hosted by Youth Ministry
Teens in the Con 2 program will be responsible for submitting the following:
Teen-Choosing a Sponsor Form (due December 13, 2026)
Sponsor Form and Affidavit (due January 31, 2027)
Saint Report (to be presented and submitted on March 14, 2027)
